Ok so this is the third time I am regretting not packing any Strepsil-type medicine. I got a sore throat in India, in Taiwan and now in China. So I think it will happen again... As a result I am in one of those mood where I would love to just roll from my bed to my sofa and just stay there with the TV on and a good cup of tea. Well, clearly you can't do that in an hostel. Instead I got woken up at dawn by a couple in my dorm and they took forever to get ready...when I finally got up, at 9am which is not that late at all, I had to face the cold living room. I didn't stay there. Instead I went to crab some food and find a bench on the lake shore. I stayed there a while staring in the vague and then went to the hostel. The temperature was ok in the bar attached to the hostel so I had a cup of tea while planning the rest of my trip in China and trying to recover to be able to celebrate New Year eve tonight.

C'est la troisième fois que je regrette de ne pas avoir emporté de Strepsil ou un truc du genre avec moi. J'ai eu mal à la gorge en Inde, à Taiwan et maintenant en Chine...du coup je n'ai qu'une envie c'est de me rouler en boule sur le canapé, allumer la TV et surtout ne rien faire. Évidement ce n'est pas possible en voyage. A la place je me suis faite réveiller à l'aube par un couple qui a mis des plombes à se préparer et quand je me suis finalement résolue à me lever (à 9h, ce qui n'est pas si tard) j'ai dû me heurter à la dure réalité du manque de chauffage dans la salle commune. Du coup je suis sortie pour me trouver à manger, puis j'ai marché jusqu'au lac où je me suis posée sur un banc pendant un long moment. Quand j'ai commencé à me sentir un poil moins la tête en pastèque je suis retournée à l'auberge. En fait la température dans le bar attaché à l'auberge est décente donc je me suis posée là avec un thé et j'ai essayé de planifier le reste de mon séjour en Chine. J'ai aussi fait de mon mieux pour essayer d'être un peu en forme pour ce soir et le réveillon.
