The start of our adventure took place at Manchester Airport and a Delta flight to Phoenix via Atlanta. As I don’t seem able to watch movies on a plane (goodness knows why) I was delighted to find that the seat backs had games installed, so I played all the way across the Atlantic. We were slightly delayed at Atlanta and sat in a queue for nearly an hour waiting to take off, but we finally reached Phoenix; the taxi driver to our hotel was a very entertaining Iranian who hardly came up for air during the half hour ride, but we eventually checked in to the Comfort Suites at Peoria, our overnight stop before picking up the RV.
