Two Talkative Turks

Selcuk, Izmir, Turkey
There are two Turkish gentlemen who happen to be touring around Turkey on a similar itinerary to ours. They drive a little old station wagon, about the size of the first Subarus that came out but with no badging. Because they are Turkish and own the roads, they make the most of them - when there are three lanes, they wander haphazardly across all three, when there are two, they like to have half of the car on each side of the dividing line so they can make most use of the whole side of the road. They generally appear shortly after we leave a town, travelling sedately along at about 20 kph slower than everyone else, talking at a great rate with hands waving and heads wagging. I can generally overtake without too much trouble once they veer to one side. However, their really clever trick is to fall behind, then after the next town, appear again in front, to be overtaken again, and again, and again!
