After leisurely brekkie, walked down to Laupen and up to the castle. Then some shopping before having lunch.

We went to see Helene, who had been at college with Andrew in 1999 in Fribourg . Helene stayed with us several times in The Gap. She and her partner Alex have a new baby, Sophie, and live very close to the Escher house. We all had a great Bar BQ with them and lots of catching up.

Then back to the house for dinner with Ursula, but this time next door with her daughter Franzi, husband Gerhart and 3 children. Franzi had also visited us in The Gap. They have built a great new wooden house next door to Ursula. Baby Emerson coping well with all this socialising.
