School girl reunion.

Edenbridge, England, United Kingdom
Up slowly in the morning, as not much to do except make a salad and prepare the smoked salmon, as Anne had everything else done. Unfortunately, I broke a tooth eating brekkie, something to fix on Monday.

First guest arrived 10 .30 and then all came - Pauline, over from Perth, Australia, and Rosie (dropped off by husband Alex, from the Isle of Wight), Rosemary, Diedre and Connie. Cannot believe it was 48 years since we left school and seems like we met up yesterday. I last met the girls in 2006, except Anne in February.

Amid much reminiscing, we ate and drank (Prosecco then Aussie wine) until we found time to go for a country walk. Then back to tea. Meanwhile Rosie had arranged a group Skype so we chatted to Marilyn in Spain, Stella in the Midlands and Clare in Abu Dhabi, such fun.

More tea and cakes, and to play a recording of our school choir from the 60s that none of us remember being involved in. My sister Theresa came to collect me, so time to say "Good Bye". Such a wonderful day and great memories.

Stopped off to put Theresa's horse, Nova, to bed, then back for drinks and dinner with Theresa and husband David. They had to be up early for the Edenbridge and Oxted show, so had stuff to prepare. Great to have a short time with them, even so.
