Lagos, Faro District, Portugal
Set off from Seville. Drove mostly parallel with the coast, after crossing into Portugal, then skirting the wetland west of Olhao. Pulled off the main road and down to a beach for a lovely picnic lunch overlooking the sea. Beautiful tiles decorated lots of the houses.

Stopped for groceries, and then to look over a shopping centre . Discovered that much here is written in English as well as Portuguese, and far more people speak English than in Spain. All shops open here on Sundays too, unlike other countries.

Noted more "things we see along the way". "Ladies of broad daylight," as in Italy, Spain and France, sitting under trees, scantily dressed, waiting for "trade"!

Finished up in a cheap Motorhome campsite outside Lagos. A cool breeze after several hot days. Big thunderstorm in the night and rain came in through the open skylight! Minor problem. Next day found one of the sleeping bags in the outside locker wet from a less minor leak there.
Off to Lisbon tomorrow.
