Left Hasselt late, in the threatening rain, and drove through horrible slow traffic to near Antwerp. Visiting Nils in his renovated house in Hingene. He had been an AFS exchange student with us in 1999 and we had last seen him some years ago at his parents' house.

Now he lives with his lovely partner Nathalie and her two kids, Kida and Arthur . Nils has a huge job ahead of him to complete the renovation, while also caring for his family, his bees, 2 cats, a rabbit and 3 chooks.
