Caught the train then "the underground" to London. Has not changed much - busy, grubby but lots of folk out spending money.

Met old University friends Beth, Renice and Margaret for lunch at the Royal Society of Medicine . Great to catch up on everybody's news, grandchildren etc. All of us now retired doctors.

After lunch a bit of shopping and making plans for tomorrow before train home and a walk with the dogs.
