Kinross, England, United Kingdom
Drove to Robin Hood Bay. Such a super little spot. Parked at the top of the village and walked down. Apparently, Robin Hood kept his boat here, in case the Sheriff of Nottingham got too close!

No room for cars, let alone The Boomer . Small, steep winding streets, terraces overlooking the beach, souvenir shops and a stony/sandy beach with lots of families out looking for crabs or shells with the kids. Lots of small B and Bs, and an amazing number of folk just ambling, like us. What a lovely find.

Next stop - a quick photo stop to look at Whitby Abbey, perched on the cliffs overlooking the sea, outside the town (we had been there before with the kids.) the abbey was sacked by the Vikings centuries ago, and never been rebuilt.

Crossed the border in the hills, into Scotland! Maybe number 61 border crossing.

Battled for what seemed like hours in the dark on the Edinburgh ring road, then drove ( in the dark) over the Firth of Forth road bridge.
Camped on Gallowhill Farm at Kinross - what is in a name?
