Lazy start, then collected by Paul and son Nicholas, who took us south of Dublin to the coast. First we climbed the hill in Victoria Park, taking in views south to Bray and north to the city and the mouth of the River Liffey.
 
Then drove along the coast at Killiney, noting the houses of rich and famous, to the village of Dalkey . Lunch at The Queen's pub, at Dalkey, dated 1745.
 
Back in time to change before dinner at cousin Helen's and meet husband Leo, with children Katie, Luca and Daniel. Fiona called to say goodbye before we turned in.
