What do they have on a farm called "Goose Slade Farm"? Geese, that screeched ALL night!

We drove to the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton . Devoted to the history of British naval aviation. Great display of aircraft, shipping, a Concorde, and simulated trip in a helicopter then up into the bridge of the the aircraft Carrier "Ark Royal." All brilliantly set out in four enormous hangars, and even I enjoyed it all.

Then set off again and had our LAST ferry ride - the Torpoint ferry across the the Hamoaze, a stretch of water at the mouth of the River Tamar, between Devon and Cornwall.

Took a wrong turn and ended up in very narrow Cornish lane, where we had cars behind us and forced three cars to back backwards uphill so we could pass them.

Arrived at Tregantle cliffs, overlooking Whitsand Bay, to stay with old friends Liz and John, whom we had last seen in February. Great welcome as always, in their lovely windy cottage overlooking the sea.
