Woke to our coldest overnight camping in UK -2.1 degrees! Slowly got ourselves organised and set off for Portsmouth. Passed a sign "Southampton and the Docks". The circle is closed again - we were there on March 7th.
 
We went to look at the D-Day museum and the Overlord Tapestry . Like the Bayeux Tapestry, not tapestry as such, but an enormously long appliqué / embroidery work of art telling the story of
D-Day. So impressive, followed by a very good museum display.
 
Then we went to stay with great friend Jane, whom we had visited in February.
