Jane had arranged for us to go to Southwick House for a private tour. This was the house where Eisenhower et al decided to say "Go" for D-Day. The guide gave us a great insight into the events leading up to the day and the days after, with lots of little anecdotes.
 
Lunch at the pub and said "Goodbye" to Jane . Drove back to Edenbridge to Theresa and David.
