It was great to spend time with various folk during our travels. Whatever we see and wherever we go the adventure means so much more when it is in the company of good friends! 

Ten months, 40,000 kilometres, 16,000 photographs, 5,000 blog visits, 9,000 litres of diesel, 29 countries (if you count parts of UK) and so on – a big year . 

Favourite place? Maybe Meteora, maybe northern Norway, maybe Montserrat, or just maybe the whole package, with new places and new people every day. 

Silliness? The great disparity of all the toll systems across all the countries. 

Now we are with Fiona and Rowan and Harriet and Georgina at The Gap in Brisbane. Also spending time with family over the next weeks, and also with good friends. 

We are currently pretty well exhausted, so will be keeping a low profile for a little while. Then on with the planning for North America in 2015! Watch this space!
