My Birthday, or as the Filipino's call it "Natal Day". I could not have been more surprised. See the video for my 6am (That's right Paul, Kathy, Lynnette and Terri...6am!!...the big ball of fire thingee wasn't even up in the sky yet!) wake up call! What a very pleasant surprise...I held back tears as long as this 'tough guy' American could but naturally I felt the tears flowing down my cheek...who wouldn't? What a wonderful start to my day!
A normal restful day and then a party for me on Natal Day! The whole Filipino gang showed up for me! Family is big for them...as it is for me...Ah...I've extended the already huge Ruff family!















Here are some random pics....the Monks at 6:45a on there way to Temple......a steer grazing at an intersection, the rooster that wakes me up most mornings....and a couple of pics of Charmaine, May (my bad on previous postings...it is May ..not Mae...) and Jovy getting a fridge moved over...we had to find a truck ...and of course a few strong people to help move it...Charmaine insisted I do not help because of my back issues....*sigh* a 5 foot 100 lb Filipina telling me what to do..."Owned" heh-heh.....











....and my last pic of the day.... Today (28th) I almost cut my toe off! I was doing dishes and dropped a plate....Charmaine and her roomies are at work....I managed to stop the bleeding..there was alot because my blood is thinned out from the meds...I'll have Charmaine look at it after she gets home around noon....duh!.....9000 from home I have no way to contact Charmaine....and I was bleeding heavy....scary! You think you can handle it until you start sweating and seem to get a bit light headed.... I am ok....I taped it up and it stopped bleeding but I might need a stitch or two..


.I'm at the Internet cafe down the street and have my foot up.....I'm too 'old' to play guess and wait with things now...just another reason I need Charmaine and must settle down in life ..bottom line...I'm a klutz! Seriously...I am ok...
