Our day was mostly on the plane eight hours from Dubai to Johannesburg. The toilets in the airport had hot, almost steamy water. As the guys said, "It gives a whole new experience of steamed clams!"

The flight was pretty good . I watched three movies, had two meals and snack plus drinks. Great bulk head seats made Ralph's trip a good one.

We arrived at the airport, got our luggage, a bottle of scotch at duty free, and got cash. We had a bit of an adventure getting to our bed and breakfast, mostly because they drive on the other side of the road. We arrived safely at the Sleepy Easy Inn. It is a beautiful place with five or six rooms, a swimming pool, lovely flowers, and landscaped with a bunch of klitch from a variety of countries. The couple is from England and moved there in 1974.

We walked about a half a kilometer to a strip mall to an Italian restaurant. The meal was one of the best that we have had and the beer was $1.50 each! Quite a difference from Dubai. The conversion is ten to one here compared to three to one in Dubai.

It was Brads birthday today. We were too full to have desert, and although very tired, managed to have a slap moose before we went to bed...at 9:30.. :).
