Walk up Lombard St

San Francisco, California, United States
The queue at the terminal for the next cable car at 9.45 am was starting to lengthen so we jumped onto the next cable car. Standing on the running board and hanging on made our way “clicky click” and “ding ding” taking selfies along Mason St to Columbus Ave. It was then a walk along and UP Lombard St. While this was the “wrong” cable car I didn’t want to wait for the Hyde St one that would have taken us to the top of Lombard St. My i phone photos are still to be added.

Well I have in past trips both driven and walked down Lombard St, but never gone up it. Actually in my opinion this was both the best angle and view to see and also appreciate this crookedest St in San Francisco. Standing at the top like most tourist do is only part of the experience.

See ‘B&B Mystery Tours of San Francisco’ will show you the best, unusual and at times unconventional views of a place.

The next cable car back into Union Sq came at 10.30 am. We are certainly making use of our City bus pass as each cable car ride is now US $6!
