Homeward bound. Do I get up to see the sunrise over the Caribbean Sea or have a lie in ? The lie in won as it will be some 40 + hours before my next decent sleep.

Hotel breakfast and then in the 45 minutes that I had went for a wander around the local streets to see 2 of the monuments I had seen when been driven to and from the hotel. Someone said this city looks like Dubai. Never been there but having seen pictures and yes, I certainly agree with the many tall skyscrapers and lovely shaped buildings like the green screw shape building 52 floor 243 metre / 797m feet tall BBA (Revolution Tower) building. You can see how quiet the normally busy Ave Balboa and Cinta Costera roads are.

The trip to the airport took only 20 minutes. I suppose it being Sunday and at 9 am the roads were still oh so quiet.

My request for a window seat was not possible and while I had an aisle seat, it was the last row at the very back of the Boeing 737 series 800 ... right by the toilets!
