I really enjoyed my two days walking the streets of Mexico City ... the street performers mainly providing both colour and character to this city.

Most of these street scenes were mainly taken along the Avenida Madero, Av Juarez or the immediate streets.

On Sunday part of the main streets were blocked off for cyclists to enjoy.

I was somehow drawn towards the end of Avenida Juarez where I saw these tarpaulins. Perhaps an open air city market? It was in fact a shanty town of modern revolutionaries under the Monumento a La Revolucion. It even had street names.
