San Ignacio, Cayo, Belize
A lazy relocate day.

Too much cloud cover get a decent sunrise from the 4th floor roof top deck but at least it gave me a bird's view of the sleepy Caye Caukler houses.

Our 12 noon ferry left the rather peaceful & relaxing "GO SLOW" Caye Caulker before heading back on another fast 45 minute trip to the mainland.

Into taxis and on arrival at the bus terminal had no time except to get straight onto my second “chicken” bus trip bound for San Ignacio. I headed towards the back and chose an isle seat hoping that this would be better for my long legs. Yes it was!

The 2 ½ hour trip went without incident.

Click, click rather blindly out of the high open ex school bus window of the green countryside that we passed through. Saw plenty of different protestant churches and church schools plus had several Mennonite men aboard.

San Ignacio is an agricultural centre and is fast becoming known as the 'adventure' and 'nature' capital of Belize.
