Extremo Canopy:

- There are 15 cables
- 5 longest = 550 m / 1804 feet, 425 m / 1394 ft, 600 m / 1968 ft, 750 m / 2460 ft and 1 km / 3280 ft.
- Height from 75 m / 225 ft to 180 m 540 ft
- 24 platforms
- Tarzan Swing 60 m / 196 ft
- Rappel 30 m / 98 ft
On the 500 to 600 metre runs we got up to speed of 50 km per hour.

My memory will be the zip lining with a bright rainbow beneath us. In fact I wish that I had my big camera as I saw on one of the long runs someone coming in one direction and another person on a different line going the other way and they both passed in front of the rainbow at the same time. Simply magic.

The climax was being Superman on this 1 km line. Flying high at I am told some 70 - 80 km above the green valley below will be one of this trip's highlight. 
 
Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is "the jewel in the crown of cloud forest reserves".

From the hanging bridge: 100 m / 325 ft long and 25 m / 80 to 100 ft above the valley floor below, it offers a tree height view of the trees and hundreds of epiphytes

Then up more steps to a viewpoint seeing the Pacific Ocean in the distance.

While waiting for our pre-arranged 2 taxis, had time to stop at the next door Hummingbird Gallery where these energetic birds were buzzing around sipping on the nectar. Trying to take a photo and stopping them in mid-flight was near impossible.
