Non-reclining seat for the 51/2 hr flight > Havana

Lima, Callao, Peru
With no more than 2 hours of deep sleep, I finally dozed off at 3 am (3:00). But was awake just before the 5.15 am (5:15) alarm was due to go off.

As daylight got brighter, it was a quick 25 minute (US$20) drive to the airport along near deserted roads. So different to last night's journey getting here.

I tried last night to check in on line but LAN's site was in Spanish. Queue wasn't that long and I still got a window seat. Time to walk around and get some prices of rum just like I did in Auckland. Plus saw a Starbucks so perhaps another mug for Brenda's collection on my way back? Then down to gate 30 deep in the bowels of Lima airport to wait with no luck logging on to the WIGO Wi-Fi site before the bus transfer out to LA2596 parked on the apron and then La Habana.

Well I got my window seat, 28A alright being snug right at the very back of the Airbus A320 with a non-reclining seat for the 5 hour 35 min flight to La Habana / Havana.

So much for the 8.50 am (8:50) lift off. Eventually took off an hour later at 9.50 am (9:50).
