Then away with a drive along the Macelon (Punta Gorda) and seeing the sun set. Just pure luck with the sunset photos especially the 2 of the Macelon sea wall as it was from a moving bus.

It was well and truly dark when we got to the Havanatur office in Trinidad where our home stay hosts were waiting for us. One by one we were dropped off in our small groups.

La Gitana, our Casa Particular and the owner's son Marcel greeted us (Julie, Ralph and me).

Dinner was enjoyed at our Casa Particular 7.15 pm (19:15) and a whole white fish CUC$12 - so different to the fish meals eaten earlier. That plus a couple of Cristal beers came to CUC$17 / US$20 / NZ$26.30.

Turned the air con off and put up with the heat till about 5 am (5:00) when the air plugs went in. The air con wasn't that noisy but would have been a nuisance. These plugs are better than what I have had used before. So good they were that I slept through 8 minutes of my 7.30 am (7:30) alarm.
