Walking down the redeveloped pedestrian mall or Calle Jiron Ancash into Caja Metropolitana to see the just open XI Concurso Nacional de Nacimientos 2015 or XI National Competition Exhibition 2015 Birth "Christmas is Jesus" exhibition.
The Municipality of Lima, through the Management of Culture, Cultural and Social Theatre Institute - ICTYS XI present the exhibition of Birth 2015 National Competition "Christmas is Jesus" exhibition that opened today in the House of Thirteen Doors, located at the corner of Lampa shred and shred Ancash, Lima.
Participants of this contest are challenged to combine tradition and artistic creativity to develop original pieces that, through the details of his characters and costumes, we speak of their regions of origin. These papers will be evaluated by a panel of experts in folk art, who will nominate the three winners jury. Visitors will be responsible for choosing a fourth winner, who will receive public recognition.
This initiative, which was developed for eleven consecutive years, aims to show the cultural wealth of Peru in various visual representations of the arrival of the Child Jesus to the world. In this way promoting folk art, with its magnificent and varied expressions, as part of our national identity.
The House of Thirteen Doors, located at the corner of Jiron Lampa and Ancash shred in downtown Lima, will host the show, which can be accessed by the general public from Friday 11 December to 06 January 2016. The hours are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
