Last leg and LA 801 took 12 hours 40 mins and not the expected 13 hours 10 minutes to travel from Sanitago, Chile through to Auckland, New Zealand. Plus instead of a scheduled 4.20 am (4:20) touchdown, it was just after 5.20 am (5:20) having also "lost" Wednesday by crossing the international date line.

Went through the "red" channel as I did not know how many cigars that I could bring in … short story, my 8 cigars were fine.

So with the short delay at customs it was not bad taking 45 mins from touch down to being outside curb side waiting for the local bus to take me the 30 minutes to Onehunga and then the 10 minute walk to where a car was waiting.
