Snorkelling was wonderful in the transparent warm aqua blue waters. Sea lions swimming and sea turtles popping their heads up out of the water for a breather completed the animal life witnessed. Forgot about the wee birds which the sea lions did not mind. While on land sea lions waddle like a duck, the videos show how graceful they can be under water.

Again how unafraid the animals were of us humans that they even came and laid between those who were sunbathing. It is their beach I suppose!














































































































































Soon we had to be BOB = back on board and the formal time to bid the crew farewell as all the others in the group are leaving me the next day. I will be joined by more passengers at Santa Cruz. Wonder if I keep my own cabin? Been wonderful to have the 3 x 3 metre space to chill out. With my cabin behind that of the Captain, I can leave my door open when I am in and that lets in fresh air and with the large window, it also lets in plenty of natural light. Apparently on the lower deck with the small round portholes it feels costaphobic down below. So I am glad I paid a bit more.
































































































































































































Not easy to keep this blog up to date and photos uploaded and backed up as it must be the sea air that makes me sleepy or is it the Sea Legs tablets that I am still taking. Going through a 8 gb card taking both raw and jpeg images I must admit that on a morning’s or afternoon’s walk means a lot of photos to cull through later! So hard to decide which ones stays!
