Charles Darwin Research Centre

I rose as the sun did and at 6 am was having breakfast so we could get the 6.40 am zodiac to the Charles Darwin Research Centre. Here we learnt a bit about the work of the staff here trying to increase the population of these endangered species.

Of course Lonesome George was the highlight. I hope that he is successful in keeping his sub species alive.

Alas that it … time to head back to Quito and my next leg.

Not quite time to head home yet as this trip is only half way through ....
