Golf @ Kai

Kaanapali, Hawaii, United States
We are up early to go to golf down the road at the Kai Course - Kaanapali. We have a small delay with our Uber pickup as the Uber GPS is not picking up our location but we have plenty of time and eventually arrive at the Kaanapali Golf Club - about 5-10 minutes south of our resort .
The course is in good condition although there are some muddy patches on the fairways which are generously proportioned for width - and there's very little in the way of rough. Neither of us played particularly badly and we had great fun in between the odd shower/sprinkle - certainly not enough to hold up progress. The last few holes had significant head winds and there were some holes that started and ended on very different levels, but generally, a nice course and until the last hole where we each hit a ball into the green-side creek, not too difficult. Chris played well, I was happy to birdie the 17th.
After golf, we grabbed another Uber and returned to our resort. We spent some time at the pool with our friends. Later in the afternoon Chris and I took the shuttle to the Cannery and bought prawns (shrimp in the USA) and vegetables for dinner.
We had a great night, prawns with zucchini, fruit salad and a competitive card game. Don won!
