Portosin, Spain, Spain and Canary Islands
We are now at Portosin which has a splendid marina run by the local yacht club. It is situated near the head of the Ria de Muros among the hills. More like a Scottish sea loch or a Norwegian Fjord. We have been catching up on sleep lost during our time at the fiesta front in Caraminas.

The Yacht Clob de Portosin has excellent premises with good food and wonderful views from the balcony . It has also got wireless internet access which is free, thus 2 blogs with piccies in 2 days.

The sail here was fairly dull. Lots of fog and very little wind that wasn't on the nose. Still the journey was worth it and we are both thoroughly rested. Monty likes the walks here - no artillery!

The town is a sleepy fishing village with quite a lot of modern development holiday flats. It has excellent beaches which are uncrowded and in abundance.

Tomorrow we go on to Santa Eugenia de la Riviera. Apparently it is the sardine capital of Spain and one can buy barbied sardines on the dock so it is a must see. After that we will probably move on to vigo for a couple of weeks while gina has a broken front tooth crowned and I negotiate for a haircut - such excitement
