In Mumbai we met our dear friends Urs und Reni from Switzerland. We had a fun weekend exploring the city and it's surroundings.
We were astonished to see how much Mumbai had changed and improved since our last visit some years ago. The city is cosmopolitan, modern, clean, well maintained and fun!
We strolled through the city for kilometres, really appreciating all the proper walkways for pedestrians. We visited grand Victoria Station, took a boat ride out to Elephanta Island, had a look at Gandhis home, checked out Dhobi Ghat and spent some time exploring the fantastic cave temples in Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
Meeting up with some local friends we also got to experience their hospitality and taste some local delicacies. A perfect weekend getaway all around!
