One weekend in June we flew to Jaipur to explore the state capital of Rajasthan. We were actually told to be crazy, to go there during the heat of summer. And yes, with 44 degrees it was very hot indeed. But it was still a very nice and worthwhile getaway and we managed the heat nicely - our course ;-).
The main attraction of the city is Amber Fort. Apart from that we also visited the City Palace as well as Hawa Mahal, the wind palace. Spending the hottest time of the day at the hotel pool, we ventured out to explore the old town in the evening. There we strolled through narrow lanes and colourful street bazars.

Great architecture there, love those buildings. But the heat... the 33° we have here right now must feel like a breeze in comparison...;) But I wish we'd have an ac here in the office...
