Solitaire, Khomas, Namibia
Took a ride after breakfast to visit the canyon which was over 100 km away. We made a lunch with the hard boiled eggs that we did not eat this morning, cold cuts and cheese sandwiches, made a fruit salad from the fresh fruits that we took from Rivendell and even had dessert. Solitude special, the apple strudel from the bakery and enjoyed it by the river side in the Canyon where we stopped for our picnic lunch.
When we came back, we all put on our bathing suits and jumped into the pool to cool off
.
Enjoyed a before dinner drink in front of our room after we reclaimed our chairs from the Germans.
It is close to 6:00PM, Louise is gone to shower and we will soon get ready for the sunset. We think it will be nicer tonight if we get the clouds we saw earlier, sitting above the setting sun.

Hi Cathy, Thanks for the comments, I now know how to reply to them. I hope that you are having a good year and that the family is well. The weather in Namibia is very dry and HOT, it was 41 today but it goes down to 15 at night.
