Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft Park, Namibia
Started our morning with a light breakfast and headed for the Sesriem and Sossusvlei park entrance. It opened at 6:45 AM, we entered and headed towards dune 45 for sunrise. It is the best time to photograph the fine, red coloured sand dunes.

Many tourists climb the ridge to have a birds eye view of the surrounding area . This is what we did and of course took a few summit pictures. Wow, it sounds so technical!

Picked up some water on our way back to the camp as well as some food for lunch and supper. Last night we had some pork chops on the BBQ with home made applesauce, boiled potatoes with all the trimmings, tomato, cucumber and black olives. Tonight we will BBQ some chicken kebabs, three different cold salads and finish with cookies and some green tea that we purchased in Myanmar.
