Moramanga to Antsirabe

Antsirabe, Antananarivo, Madagascar
Another long journey (10 hours) that took most of the day but we did stop for pictures, pineapple tasting on the side of the road, lunch and the bank tour to find an ATM that would work with our cards.

Now a little something special for my brother in law, Eric who lives in Geneva Switzerland and who will soon have a brand new condo in Montreal . I want to tell you all about our fabulous lunch that we had today. lol! :)

Our driver took us to a little French style bistro for lunch. It specializes in duck products and so this was our menu. Now for starters, we had a platter with three types of foie gras, one plain, raisin, and a green pepper one accompanied with crispy baguette slices. For our main course, I had "cuisse de canard confits" with potatoes. Francois had the "Magret de Canard sauce au miel" with vegetables. Bananes flambees and fruits salad for dessert. It was so good after eating survival food for the last three days. The cost per person, 12.50 for this plentiful feast.

We arrived at our Hotel around 5:30 PM, settled in and went for supper at 7:30 in the hotel restaurant. Tomorrow we plan to relax and walk around town and do a little shopping since we all have a few things to purchase.
