After a few hours drive, one on a tarred road and two on dirt roads that have been damaged by the recent rainfall, we finally arrived at Tsara Camp. It is very similiar to desert camp with canvas tents but this one is full board. The view is just amazing, surrounded by mountains we are in a valley with some local villages, inside the Andringitra Natonal Park.

On our way to the camp we crossed a delivery truck that was really stuck in the one lane, mud road, that we also had to take . After a few minutes of assessing the situation, our driver decided to clear the field next to the road and off he went to come out on the other side of the truck. We will sleep in the camp tonight.

Tomorrow we will go on a hike with a local guide to summit a neighbouring mountain and enjoy the view. The name of the mountain is Hara Avaratra.
