Camp Catta

Ambalavao, Fianarantsoa, Madagascar
A short drive today to reach our second camp, which was the first choice when the girls booked our stay in Madagascar. They unfortunately did not respond in time so they took Tsara camp for two nights. We have since changed our itinerary due to the long rides on difficult, dirt roads. We were suppose to have two nights on the west coast which we cancelled and so now, we had two nights that were not booked. We decided to stay in the same park park but at a different place called, Catta Camp.

It is very different from Tsara Camp where we were in a valley surrounded by mountains and several little waterfalls just a short walk away . Here we have an ecological pool to refresh ourselves and we are at the base of the mountains, much closer to Chameleon Mountain. There are also Catta Lemurs everywhere around our cabins, and can be approached rather easily.
