After a short ferry ride (15 minutes) to the island we walked to our hotel as no one was waiting for us with the baggage cart as confirmed yesterday by email. It was a short walk but it was scorching hot and my back was a little sore from the wave that hit me in Anse Lazio. I took the two small packs and Francois carried the big ones.
Enjoyed an ice cold, homemade juice of mango and passion fruit and proceeded to check in
. The room was not ready so we found our bathing suits and waited by the pool after a dip in the ocean, then in the pool and back in the ocean...lol! Holidays can be tough!
Good news, we have internet here, youpieee!
Claude, Louise Lachance, Louise Lorrain, Lucia, Sandra, Lori, Luc and anyone else who wants to try to FaceTime or Skype but please keep in mind that Montreal is 8 hours behind the Seychelles.
