La Digue, La Digue
Yesterday we walked on the beach in front of our hotel and headed south on the western coast towards Source D'Argent beach. It has many inlets and huge boulders which are accessible by low tide. We left at 7:30 and had to return before 9:30 if we wanted breakfast. Were reached our destination, took many pictures and even had a local dog that accompanied us for the entire distance both ways. He was chasing tiny crabs for his breakfast after trying the bigger ones and getting pinched.

Today (May 26) we rented bicycles and headed south but cut across to the eastern side of the island . We locked our bicycles at the Loutier Coco Restaurant and arrived on Grand Anse, walked through the jungle to Petite Anse and then one longer hike to reach the natural pool in Anse Coco. After a short dip we returned back to the bicycles and headed back to the hotel. We are taking all our meals at the Repaire, the chef named Remo is really good and makes just about all the Italian classics including wood stove Pizzas.

After lunch we cooled off in the pool and got back on our bikes to reserve our scuba diving for tomorrow, visited a little church and the other side of the island. We headed north till the tip of the island and headed south on the eastern side all the way to Anse Fourmis. Spotted the George Camille Art Gallery so we stopped and took some time to see his work.

Today is Jake's Birthday, my oldest brother is now 58 years old.
