Packed the car, fed the cat, checked to make sure all heat-producing appliances were off, locked the doors, and headed out. Drove 300 miles, some of it through a massive gully-washer, much of it over winding mountain roads during the gully-washer. Hail, at one point, pinging off the car with enthusiasm. Arrived in PA to check into the motel, and in a few minutes we're off to the drive-in. Tonight's exciting combo: Transformers 3 and Super 8 (which does not have anything to do with the hotel chain....) More anon!
