Just another day in paradise

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States
Another beautiful day... not too hot, nice breeze, no rain.

I wanted to have a rematch so we went to a different mini-golf course this morning and played 36 holes. This course wasn't as tacky looking as yesterday's course but it was a lot harder! I still didn't beat him, but on each 18 holes I was within 3 points which I thought was pretty good since I don't golf and I'm lousy at putting!

We came back and went for a long walk on the beach. Today there were some jellyfish washed up on the beach and we collected some shells.

We spent the afternoon reading and enjoying our balcony for one more day.

For dinner we went back to the Boardwalk and had dinner in a bar. Not that great. But the Boardwalk sure comes alive at night. Lots of crowds, lots of music and stuff going on.

We kept seeing this road sign for "Mr. Joe White Avenue". Who was Mr. Joe White? So I googled it - Google knows everything.  "Mr. Joe White Avenue is a boulevard in Myrtle Beach named for "Mr. Joe", a shoeshine man in Georgetown County and later Myrtle Beach. He started his shoe shine business at age 7 charging 10 cents a pair and once shined 290 pair in one day."

And here's my Roadside America photo of the day:
