La Rinconada, Lima, Peru
We went shopping for a little while this afternoon, passing by a huaca (an archeological site right in the middle of town - there are several in Lima). And passing by what I thought was a mosque - it looks like minarets - but turned out to be the Mormon temple. I still think it looks like a mosque.

Then we went to cousin Ingrid's for tea time. On the way we passed the American Embassy.

Ingrid had wonderful treats for us - many kinds of sandwiches, and Ingrid and her daughters make beautiful candies for weddings and other celebrations, so there were many yummy confections to choose from. They are so pretty that they are almost too pretty to eat.

Here are photos of all the cousins:

Virginia is Armando's daughter and Gabby is Ingrid's daughter. Bertha and Adela are sisters.

Tete and Tato are brother and sister.   Marite is Tete's daughter, Mariella is the daughter of Olga and Tato.

Edith and Lida are sisters.

Now you know who everyone is and how they are related, right? There will be a quiz later!

Here is Ingrid's beautiful golden retriever, and not to be left out, Magda's miniature doberman.
