Miraflores, Lima, Peru
Leaving Puno this morning gave us some spectacular views of the lake. Then we drove to Juliaca through some flat flat farmland. It always surprises me that at 12,000 feet in the mountains, there can be this huge wide flat plain! Without a snow-covered mountain in sight! At the airport we were entertained by some musicians.

We returned to Lima via Cusco....the city and the airport are surrounded by mountains, so it's always a trip to fly in and out of there. If the pilots don't have visual they don't land. No just trusting the instruments to land here. These photos were taken during take off.

Back in Lima, we have a new apartment in the same building. This one is much nicer and on the 7th floor, so not as much noise, and better views. Cousin Joaquin came to visit for awhile, and later we went shopping at the Indian market, grocery shopping, ate anticuchos for dinner, and had a walk through Cat Park.
