Disney's Magic Kingdom, Florida, United States
We arrived at Orlando International within an hour of eachother. The others coming from Milwaukee. Disney is an amazing organization. First we put Mickey Mouse luggage tags on our bags before leaving home, and when we got to Orlando we just went down to the Disney Magical Shuttle Bus. Our bags are magically collected from baggage and transported to our resort and to our rooms.

We checked in to the Port Orleans French Quarter hotel - with a New Orleans theme of course. Angelique checked us in and she was great. We got our Magic Wristbands which open the room doors, keep track of our meals, our entries to the parks, our purchases in the gift shops. All with a plastic wristband! We also got Happy Birthday buttons with our princess names written on them. If we only had a dollar for each time we were wished Happy Birthday!!

Sue was Belle because she was married to a beast who never did turn into a prince. Beth was Ariel because she uses a cane and so she's like a fish out of water. I was Snow White because I am the slut (not really, it's an old joke) and I have seven little men following me all around, and Mary was Cinderella because when she assigned characters she discovered she could only choose princesses, not witches. She's really Cruella DeVille.

The only drawback of our resort is that the restaurant was under renovations so we didn't have a very big place to eat or many choices, but all the food was good. We went to have a snack and then headed to Epcot so we could catch the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. There are two monorails - one from Epcot to the Polynesian resort and one from there to the Magic Kingdom. When we went to transfer we found the second leg was closed so we took a boat across the lake to the park. Got off and it started raining, so we decided to take the bus back to the hotel and unpack and rest.

We all unpacked, then Mary and Beth rested and Sue and I walked along the river to the Port Orleans Riverside resort to look at their gift shop.

Back to the Magic Kingdom for dinner at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and Piglet and Eyore and Tigger. It was a big buffet, the food was good but the waitress forgot to get her sprinkle of fairy dust because she was a witch..

Then we rode the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Carribean.
