Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Hey there, welcome back!

Just landed at CDG, got 'bout 3 hours to ensemble.

So, the burger index. Wherever you go in the world, the McDonald's has the same prices tied to the to the local currency/US dollar exchange rate. And it tastes the same all around the world. Not even Coca-Cola does that (they ocassionally control the liquids sweetness by adjusting the sugar volume added, complying with local tastes - the South American or American coke is a bit sourer than the European one, for example).

Where I was shooting to is that the fact the only the lower steps of the society dine in Mekis demonstrates a strong economy, where the population can easilty afford more expensive, and probably more healthy (in that respective country) food. However, Wendy's old fashioned burgers, Dunkin' Donuts or Au Bon Pain might be healthier, I don't consider them better or more tasty. They're all the same. Extremely pooor, compared to average or below average European street junk food. That's the way it is, if you go to America form Europe, you either starve or cough up some codgy bucks, simple as that >:) I did not choose a distinct side yet :))

That's about it for today.

By the way, there's a nationwide strike going on in France, including the airports' handling staff and Air France crew so I just merely hope I can make it home safe and on time. No sign of delay yet, so let's just hope...
