A Day at Banff

Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada
This morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast out in town. David and our brother-in-law Jerry decided to rest and get some laundry done while my sister Arlene and I explored the Lake Louise area. We stopped at Moraine Lake. Words aren't sufficient to describe the brilliance of its color and the breathtaking backdrop of ten peaks. Enjoy the pictures. We ended up hiking up to the end of the lake and back.

On the way back to camp, we did stop at the iconic Lake Louise . It's so much better known and therefore quite overwhelmed with visitors, we actually enjoyed Moraine Lake more.
