After cleaning up and securing the trailer, we headed from Banff towards Jasper. Jerry had met a guy back in Revelstoke that said, "Just when you think the views can't get any better, you go around the next bend!" That certainly was true of the drive from Banff to Jasper on the Icefields Parkway. The highway winds through mountains laden with glaciers, waterfalls and lakes. To try and describe the view would be just flapping my gums. Here are some pictures to give you an idea of the grandeur of the Canadian Rockies.




 
 
After all the stopping to take pictures, the 176 mile trip turned into quite a day's drive. We didn't arrive in our campground until late afternoon. We stayed at the Jasper Gates RV Resort. It was a great resort.
