Today is the day that we will return to Canada. We drove northward forward Flint, MI and then east on I-69/I-95 to Port Huron, MI. This is one of the crossing points from the U.S. into Canada. On the other side of the border is Point Edward, ONT. There was a double bridge that cross the narrow channel that flows between Lake Erie and Lake Huron. As we were crossing a large tanker was steaming westward (actually at that point, he is headed north) probably headed towards Lake Michigan with a load of heating oil for the winter.

 
It was exciting to be back in Canada, continuing our trip to the destination of Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick before turning south to the U.S. East Coast. As we departed Point Edward, we saw a lot of farms along the western shores of Ontario province. We were surprised to see a lot of windmills dotted along the countryside. I guess we shouldn't be surprised with all the "renewable" energy sources that are being installed.

 
Soon we came to our campground, Pinery Provincial Park & Campground. We settled down for dinner and watching a little Canadian TV before turning in for the night.

The next morning, Sharon and Arlene went over the dunes separating the park & campground from Lake Huron. They enjoyed seeing the lake and it's pebbled beach.
