Singapore. Halfway home. Flew in early morning, about 0530. Now for a 19hr layover before we fly to Cairns. We've opted to book a hotel room for the day so we can rest up a bit. 19 hours not really long enough to do any sightseeing (we leave at 1am). so a leisurely day at the hotel and then the final push home (including a 1hr stopover in Darwin - no idea why).
So ends another European odyssey. Took a few detours here and there (Spain in particular). visited a few favorites, discovered some new places. 
As always its been a memorable trip. As always not nearly enough time to see it all. 
Highlights of the trip have been our time in Spain, the extended trip through Germany, and of course our time in Paris. Christmas in Berlin with Jake & Sam was great. It was a bit of a bonus for us when they decided to come across as well, the last time we had Christmas without them just wasn't the same. 
Despite the turmoil much of Europe has been in, we have had a great time. Hopefully things will settle down throughout the year so we can come back again.
