Half-day in Valencia

Valencia, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands
We had to wake ourselves at 7 in the morning, in order to get ready, pack, and make it to the train station by 9:30 in the morning. Everything went well and we made our train. Luckily, it was not super full.

After the train ride, we found ourselves in Valencia at 1:30 PM . Our hostel was situated about 20 minute walk from the train station, so the walk was not too bad. We got to the hostel(hospederia del pilar)around 2PM, showered and grabbed a quick power nap. We then began walking around the city.

We knew that we wanted to do a free tour in Valencia, so we tried  to explore things that would not be on the tour. To do this, we walked to the landmarks that are further out of the city center. It was a nice evening walk and then we found ourselves eating in a café near our hostel for dinner. Dilyara and I split a salad, I ordered a valencian Paella, Dilyara ordered a vegetarian paella (what she wound up eating at every meal in Valencia), and we had a small egg custard dessert. In Spain, they have "Meal of the day" deals. So, I could pay 10 euros and have a first course, second course, dessert, and bread included. This is why we are always eating so much J.

We came back to the hostel and went to sleep.

Since our room was so nice and very cheap, we purchased another night stay as well.
