Rome, Lazio, Italy
Today, we decided to do an overall exploration of Rome. Not go in any Museums, just adventure around the city and see many of the sites.
Throughout the entire day we made it to Piazza del Repubblico, Teatro del Opera, Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, Piazza Vittorio Emmanuel (a lot of cats were here, so Dilyara loved that), then to the grocery store, the Coliseum, Arch of Constantine, Palatine hill, grabbed some Pizza at a café, San Gregorio Magno al Celio, Altare della Patria (which had a free museum on soldier history in Italy and the tomb of the unknown soldier), Santa Maria in Aracoeli, Deutsche Bank, Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, then we walked back to the train station, got some supplies, then went back to the room
.
We walked from each place taking random streets and enjoying the sites and the pleasures of Rome. It was a great overview day of Rome.
